I have grown so much while in this class. I have improved my writing and photo taking skills. One article that I am really proud of myself for is the one I wrote regarding competitive cheer leading. This is one of the longest articles that I have written and I was so excited about it. To be able to share my experiences and inform people about what they might not have known about cheer. There is a lot of work that goes into becoming a good cheerleader and I am happy that I got to share my though about it with others. This is also why I like being in newspaper because I get to share my opinions and thoughts about a lot of things that I might not have been able to share with people otherwise. With photography I have worked hard to improve my skill during this class. I have taken photos during sporting events such as; basketball, competitive cheer, and football. I have also used to video camera and tripod while in this class which have been cool.
I was always a decent writer due to many of the different programs that I have been in to help me and improve my skills (Merze Tate Explorers) I am happy I got to be apart of this class because I got more time to do some of the things that I enjoy and like to do. I have improved and will continue to improve my skills. I want to also thank Mrs. Jolan for helping me throughout this class, and the editors for checking over my work and giving me ideas.
Some of my goals at the beginning of the semester were to improve my photography skills which I have. I would also like to continue to do that by going to more events to take photos and others events that could help me improve my skills. I also wanted to make more videos so that I could improve on my editing skills. I did not get to do much of that this trimester, but I plan on making more videos and editing them next tri.
